Nail clipping and filing
A manicure for our dog
Service Description
Although it may seem like a simple task, it's very important to know how to cut your dog's nails correctly. Use the right tools, such as dog nail clippers, their favorite treats, and nail clipping techniques. Whether you want to do it yourself or bring them in, the steps for clipping your dog's nails are as follows: Differents depending on whether they have light nails (simpler) or dark nails (more complicated) Start by lifting their paws. Don't twist their paws too much. Lift one paw and look under the nail to see the flesh. Place the nail clippers on the edge of the nail if you can't see the flesh. Hold the clippers at a 45-degree angle. Trim only the tip of the nail first. Examine it thoroughly before continuing. Hold the paw and nail up to the light and look at the center of the nail. Locate the flesh, which is a dark circle in the center of the nail. Small dog nail file to file down rough edges. Apply hemostatic powder, cornstarch, benzocaine, or baking soda to stop any bleeding. If you're not sure how to do it correctly, don't do it. We'll be happy to help you and explain how to do it in person to avoid any potential accidents.
